PDC beats Tulum in one major way, it's more walkable. But Tulum beaches Playa in several ways, nicer beaches, ruins, has more Cenotes, nightlife. Yea Mia is not as great as it used to be. Also on Saturdays Papaya Playa Project is usually more busy and safe. Vagalume also is a great venue.
